What is some advice you would give a first-year alumnus?
Go out of your comfort zone and reach out to people in other areas of INYaG. Meeting people from other delegations, committees, or even other branches of the conference makes the entire conference much more fun and meaningful and you might meet some incredible people you'd never know otherwise.
What is your favorite memory of INYaG as a delegate?
Speaking on behalf of the Model Supreme Court at the Governor's Reception during my first year in the Courts
What are you up to now?
A 2022 Hobart High School Graduate and I plan to go to college in the east coast this fall

What is some advice you would give a first-year alumnus?
Challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone. Make a goal to speak on a bill "x" number of times and do it. It can be scary, but once you do it, you can feel so empowered!
What is your favorite memory of INYaG as a delegate?
One year I served in the media. I remember being in the basement compiling stories after running around interviewing and listening to bills being presented. I believe it was only me and one other delegate that year in the media and we were gathered around this table trying to write as many stories as we could as quick as possible (and as late as possible!).
What are you up to now?
I work in the Porter County Prosecutor's Office as a Deputy Prosecutor in the Child Support Division. It took me a few years after undergrad to find my passion, but I finally settled into a career in law that also allows me to serve my community. I also help give back by volunteering with INYaG by helping with the Legislative Program.

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis (Baxter) Delegation
What is some advice you would give a first-year alumnus?
Stay in touch with Youth and Government and the friends you meet there. I still talk with friends I wouldn’t have known without Youth and Government.
What is your favorite memory of INYaG as a delegate?
I loved pretty much every bit of it, from my freshman year to my senior year, when I served as Youth Governor. I also really enjoyed participating in CONA.
What are you up to now?
I practice law at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP in Indianapolis serving religious organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses. I have three children with my wife Candice, who also participated in Youth and Government during high school.
