The Alliance supports Indiana Ys through networking, providing opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, and encouraging ongoing professional development of Y professionals and volunteers. The Alliance:
- provides an opportunity for personal and team development utilizing the Culture Index Tool and Better Teams Model;
- provides at least two conferences annually geared toward leadership and professional development for all YMCA staff and volunteers; and,
- provides many opportunities for board development, through education specifically targeted for Board Governance Chairs and Chief Volunteer Officers.
